Strong-acting pharmaceuticals smuggled from the Kyrgyz Republic were confiscated. The press service of the State Security Service reported this.
In a rapid operation conducted by the employees of the State Security Service's Tashkent city branch in collaboration with customs authorities in the city of Namangan, a citizen of the Jalal-Abad region, Ala-Buka district of the Kyrgyz Republic, born in 1985, and two individuals residing in the Yangiqo‘rg‘on district of the Namangan region, born in 1980 and 1998, were arrested while selling 16,800 pills of the strong-acting pharmaceutical “Regapen” brought into our country through alternative routes from the Kyrgyz Republic for 36,000 US dollars.
In another rapid operation carried out in Tashkent city, during the inspection of a citizen’s residence and vehicle in the Shaykhontohur district, born in 1982, in the presence of impartial observers, 15 pills of the strong-acting pharmaceutical “Regapen” were found and officially documented.
Similarly, upon inspecting the residence of an acquaintance, born in 1978, who had been previously convicted for crimes related to the trafficking of drugs, in the Uchtepa district, 2967 pills of the “Regapen” pharmaceutical were discovered and officially documented.
During a rapid operation conducted by the employees of the State Security Service in collaboration with customs authorities on the “Fergana-Tashkent” route, a “Nexia” model vehicle moving within the Sergeli district was stopped and inspected, revealing 1400 pills of “Regapen”, and 30 pills of “Tropicamide” strong-acting pharmaceuticals, belonging to a citizen residing in the city of Fergana, born in 1989, and were officially documented.
The employees of the State Security Service’s Namangan province branch, in collaboration with customs authorities, conducted a rapid operation, during which the “Lacetti” model vehicle belonging to a citizen residing in Namangan city, born in 1989, was inspected in the presence of impartial observers, revealing 6034 pills of “Regapen” strong-acting pharmaceuticals which were officially documented.
Moreover, the rapid operation continued, and from the living quarters of the said citizen, 2800 pills of “Regapen” pharmaceuticals were seized.
It is necessary to emphasize that in all cases, the confiscated strong-acting pharmaceuticals were smuggled into our country from the Kyrgyz Republic.
Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against the individuals involved, and investigative actions are being conducted.
