President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will be in this country on July 8-9 on an official visit at the invitation of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

The President emphasized the need to launch this system on a trial basis in the city of Tashkent this year, and to introduce it in all regions of the country from next year.

The head of state referred to the Islamic civilization center as an intellectual bridge connecting the past and the future, East and West, and expressed confidence that this forum will elevate cooperation between various countries, international organizations, and scientific centers to a new level.

Additionally, implementation of environmental projects such as Zero Waste Samarkand in waste management, Carbon Neutral Samarkand in climate policy, and Green Hotels Samarkand in the tourism sector is envisaged.

The head of state wished Nursultan Nazarbayev strong health, happiness and long life.

According to the decree, it is planned to increase the volume of fish farming in the country to 500 thousand tons, and the volume of cold-water fish farming to 20 thousand tons.

"I am extremely pleased to convey the most sincere congratulations and best wishes on behalf of the multinational people of Uzbekistan to you and the friendly American people," the President's congratulatory message reads.

The President instructed the responsible officials to launch the street lighting system within 10 days.

During the meeting, the President instructed to eliminate the problem of unpleasant odor around the water treatment facility in Sergeli by September 1.

As the President emphasized, these changes are the result of consistent reforms aimed at creating a favorable environment for the population and transforming the mahalla into a modern, prosperous place.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze attended the grand opening ceremony of the monument to the great Uzbek poet and thinker Alisher Navoi in Tbilisi.

Through this, the Georgian side expressed its respect and attention to the people of Uzbekistan.
