The 57th plenary session of the Senate reviewed the Law "On amendments and additions to the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan" here.
As noted at the meeting, over 200 violations of traffic rules were identified by the operators of individual mobility vehicles during raid operations conducted in the city of Tashkent from June 2023.
Therefore, administrative responsibility is being established for violations committed using scooters, individual mobility vehicles, including scooters, mopeds, bicycles, and controlling animal-drawn vehicles, as well as for the transportation of people by the drivers of individual mobility vehicles and scooters.
According to the members of the Parliament, the adoption of the Law will serve to ensure traffic safety on our country's roads, prevent road traffic accidents, and also protect the legal interests of citizens.
The Law was approved by the senators.
