The state leader emphasized that this year, an additional 300,000 young people will be involved in the "One Million Programmers" project. More than 3,000 courses on the Coursera platform will enable Uzbek-speaking youth to learn with the help of artificial intelligence.
Also, this year, the "Heirs of Muhammad al-Khwarizmi" project will be implemented in Karakalpakstan, covering another 1,000 young people.
An agreement has been reached with the United Arab Emirates to implement the "One Million Artificial Intelligence Users" project in Uzbekistan. The Ministry of Digital Technologies has been instructed to start work in this area.
Last year, 25,000 girls were trained for free in IT. This year, the program plans to double the number of female programmers. 1,000 talented girls will be prepared for international olympiads in IT camps.
The importance of using artificial intelligence technologies to early identify the interests and needs of the youth, to monetize their potential, and to involve them in socially significant projects was emphasized. The authorities were tasked with developing a long-term strategy for implementing a digital social ecosystem.
