Based on the President's directive, a Government decision was made aimed at further improving the regulation of movement on roads, creating additional conveniences for drivers, and resolving issues that have been troubling them. This was reported by the President's Press Service here.

According to the decision, from June 1st, it is not allowed to record incidents of driving over road markings through special automated photo and video recording technical means.

Stopping line — “stop-line” (road sign 5.33) is an exception.

That is, if a driver crosses the line, this violation will not be recorded by a photo radar or video camera, meaning, a fine will not be automatically issued. However, if it is detected by a traffic police officer, the violation will be officially processed according to established procedure.
