According to court documents, Solihjon Ibragimov posted a video on his Instagram page showing a training session and attached to it a comment with the following content: "I am training so that in the future my wife will only take precise blows."
After this post was published, Nemolchi.uz project head Irina Matvienko appealed to the internal affairs bodies, asking them to give a legal assessment of this situation and take measures within the law.
At the court hearing, Solihjon Ibragimov fully admitted his guilt, stated that he regretted his actions, and asked the court for leniency.
The court found him guilty of committing an offense under Article 189-1 of the Code of Administrative Liability, namely, the preparation, importation, distribution, advertising, or display of products promoting a culture of discrimination, violence, or cruelty.
When imposing the sentence, the defendant's regret for his actions and other circumstances of the case were taken into account, and he was sentenced to a fine of 60 times the basic calculation amount, that is, 24 million 720 thousand soums.
Also, according to the court decision, the mobile phone of the iPhone 15 Pro Max model used in committing the offense was confiscated to the benefit of the state.
