A Pakistani individual suspected of participating in an assassination attempt on Donald Trump has been arrested.

He was arrested on July 12 when he intended to leave the USA.

In the US, a Pakistani individual suspected of participating in a plot to assassinate American politicians, including Donald Trump, has been arrested. This was reported by "BBC News"  here.

According to the US Department of Justice indictment, the case concerns a 46-year-old Pakistani citizen named Asif Merchant. He was arrested on July 12th while attempting to leave the US. 

It is noted that Merchant flew to the United States from Pakistan in April and attempted to hire assassins on a contractual basis. He had meetings with the killers, who turned out to be agents of US law enforcement authorities. The assassination was planned for the end of August or the beginning of September.
