As reported in the meeting, measures have been considered to allocate 50,000 hectares of land to poor families for farming and gardening.
The Ministry of Agriculture and local governments have been tasked to find an additional 50,000 hectares of land, based on which calculations will be made to generate income for 200,000 families and lift them out of poverty.
The necessity to spread the experience of creating industrial "in vitro" gardens in the districts of Sokh, Bakhmal, Pop, and Ohangaron across the entire republic was noted.
Here, "mortgage gardens" will be created and leased to people with a condition to pay in installments over 5 years after the gardens begin yielding produce.
A system will be in place to provide the land to the entrepreneur who wants to create a garden, along with cheap credit and a ready-made project.
This system has been launched, with the task this year to establish such gardens and vineyards on 14,000 hectares, and in the following year on 29,000 hectares.
