More than 60 billion Uzbek soms in compensation will be paid for the relocation of property belonging to the inhabitants of the Tashkent region, namely due to the expansion of the "Uzbekkumir" coal mine area in the "Chinobod" neighborhood area. This was reported by the press service of the Tashkent regional governor's office here.
In the first phase, a total of 13.1 billion soms will be paid to 91 property owners, and in the second phase, 49.2 billion soms are intended to be paid to 95 property owners (73 residential properties, 1 non-residential property, and 21 vacant land plots).
It is noted that open communications have been conducted with all property owners who are required to relocate or demolish their properties. They have provided letters of consent regarding the demolition (relocation) of their properties. The remaining necessary documents were also formalized.
Notarial transactions were made with 77 property owners. Documents for inheritance rights for 18 real estate objects (vacant land plots) have been formalized, and thereafter, notarial transactions were established.
With the goal of acquainting property owners with the current work, the governor of the capital region, Zoir Mirzaev, met with the local population and personally discussed it with them.
"Measures were taken to establish a staff with the necessary authority, as well as to form a Working Commission involving representatives of the local population. Agreements were reached on the deadlines for compensation payments and ensuring the transparency of these actions," - the report states.
We remind you that compensations are paid to property owners for the property relocated (moved) due to the expansion of the "Uzbekkumir" JSC coal mine territory in the "Chinniabad" MCA area. The funds will be paid from the Republic Compensation Fund.
