Currency control over foreign trade operations has been further improved.

The decree (PF-156, dated October 14, 2024) has introduced amendments and additions to certain presidential documents, as reported by the Ministry of Justice.

Accordingly, the following amendments and additions were made:

• standardization of the deadlines for deferred payment of customs duties and setting their maximum duration to not exceed 120 days;
• improvement of the procedures for accounting overdue debtor and creditor liabilities in foreign trade operations and the repatriation of assets.
