The plane flying from Almaty to Antalya made an emergency landing in Oktog.

On January 8th, an "Airbus A321" plane flying from Almaty, Kazakhstan, to Antalya, Turkey, made an emergency landing at Oktou Airport. This was reported by the "Kazinform" agency, relying on the "Air Astana" press service reported.

The incident occurred for technical reasons, namely due to a malfunction of the central fuel tank safety device.

The landing process was carried out normally.

The flight was postponed to January 9th due to the necessity of parts arrival from Almaty.

Passengers were provided with food and accommodation.

Similar measures are being taken for passengers in Antalya.
