In the Tashkent region, a chief accountant who appropriated 1.9 billion UZS was identified. The Department under the Prosecutor General's Office reported this.
The pre-investigation inspection conducted by the Department's Tashkent regional branch on protecting the rights of business entities revealed that citizen S.O., working as the chief accountant for the “L.A.” and “Z.P.” LLCs, appropriated a total of 1.9 billion UZS to his plastic card by using the electronic digital signature keys of these companies.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 167 of the Criminal Code (embezzlement or misappropriation) concerning this incident, and investigative actions are being conducted.
