On January 27, the regulation "On the Procedure for Storage, Sale, Distribution, and Accounting of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Precursors" was registered in the state registry. The Ministry of Justice reported this.
This regulation applies to legal entities engaged in activities related to the circulation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and precursors on a license basis.
In pharmacies, narcotic drugs are dispensed to individuals by the pharmacy manager, pharmacist (provizor), or their assistant based on a doctor's prescription. They are provided on a special pink prescription form.
The necessary prescription forms for narcotic drugs for health care institutions are provided by the regional departments of the Ministry of Health.
Only one type of narcotic substance, not exceeding a seven-day supply, should be prescribed on a single prescription form by the doctor.
In the pharmacy room where narcotic drugs are stored, the prescriptions for narcotic drugs are kept sealed for five years.
The stock of narcotic drugs in the pharmacy of a medical-prophylactic institution should not exceed a one-month supply, and in its departments, a three-day supply.
