«The 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Second World War» commemorative jubilee medal was established.
The jubilee medal is awarded to citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan – those awarded with the medals “For the Victory over Germany in the 1941-1945 Great Patriotic War” and “For the Victory over Japan”, others awarded with various orders and medals for their combat service during the war years, or those holding a Second World War participant certificate or a War Veteran certificate, including those equated with them, as well as home front labor veterans of the Second World War years, including holders of the medals “For Valiant Labor in the 1941-1945 Great Patriotic War”, “For Courage in Labor”, “For Exemplary Labor”, or a certificate of having held a civil position in the Armed Forces during the recruitment period in the 1941-1945 war years.
