Summer in Uzbekistan begins with dry and somewhat hot weather. According to the report from "Uzhydromet," there will be no precipitation from June 1–7, with temperatures rising to +35…+38 degrees Celsius, and in some areas, even up to +40 degrees Celsius. By the end of the month, temperatures will fluctuate between +25…+41 degrees, with occasional short periods of rain possible.
Experts have indicated that this year's summer season could be relatively hot due to global warming and the "El-Nino" phenomenon. The surface temperature of the ocean is still high, affecting the atmosphere. Therefore, preliminary assessments by global forecasting centers expect the summer temperature to be slightly above normal.
Despite this, experts emphasize that during the summer, there will be periods of extreme heat as well as relatively cool spells. This condition aligns with Uzbekistan's dry and continental nature. A consistent increase in summer temperatures has been observed over the last 50 years.
