Starting from September 1, Public Order Maintenance Units in Uzbekistan will be able to provide paid services for maintaining public order and ensuring public safety based on contracts with legal entities. This decision was adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers on July 30.
According to the decision, starting from September 1, legal entities can apply through the Unified Interactive Public Services Portal and State Services Centers to utilize services from Public Order Maintenance Units on a contractual basis.
Public Order Maintenance Units may provide services through the "Electronic Patrol" system of the Internal Affairs Department. Legal entities must submit an application to use this service. The application in the prescribed form will be reviewed within 10 working days from the date of acceptance by the authorized body.
The tariffs for services provided by Public Order Maintenance Units to ensure public order and safety in public places will be determined in agreement with the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
