The Compulsory Enforcement Bureau of the Tashkent City Administration, based on the enforcement order of the Tashkent City Court for Criminal Cases, has commenced the destruction of more than 3.2 million units of medicines stored in the warehouses of "Quramax Medical" LLC and customs warehouses. This was reported by the press service of the Compulsory Enforcement Bureau.
Among these medicines is the "Doc-1 Max" syrup, which caused the deaths of at least 68 children in Uzbekistan.
In particular, the following will be destroyed:
- 811,478 units of "Doc-1 Max" tablets;
- 101,669 bottles of "Doc-1 Max" syrup;
- 2,252,796 units of "Ambronol" tablets;
- 56,672 bottles of "Ambronol" syrup.
The event is being conducted with the participation of law enforcement agencies, the sanitary-epidemiological service, the Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection, and the public.
The medicines are being destroyed by incineration in a special furnace in a manner that does not harm the ecology and environment, the report says.
