Russian TV host Vladimir Solovyov on his show "Solovyov Live" referred to Armenia and Central Asia as Russia's "spheres of influence," stating that the "loss" of these territories poses a threat to national security. On this basis, he did not rule out the possibility of military operations being conducted in other regions considered to be within Russia's sphere of influence.
These statements sparked sharp debates on social networks. Commenting on them, Alisher Qodirov, leader of the "National Revival" party, emphasized that such Russian chauvinistic outbursts are not new and that such provocations must be approached with composure.
According to him, such claims by Russia in the Central Asian countries contradict the spirit of strategic partnership between the two states and negatively affect relations. Qodirov noted that Central Asia is a zone of security and stability, and that the fraternal countries are capable of jointly responding to any aggression.
"Solovyov's ineffective outbursts only demonstrate his weakness and impotence, that's all," concluded Alisher Qodirov.
