A meeting was held with World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus within the framework of the international forum on combating drug threats being held in the city of Samarkand.
The meeting discussed issues of developing cooperation between Uzbekistan and the WHO, reforms in the healthcare system, the introduction of digital medicine, improving the pharmaceutical market, and expanding regional ties.
Special attention was also paid to strengthening cooperation in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients suffering from drug addiction.
