In a video message posted on social media, Yulduz Usmonova said that artificial intelligence technologies should serve to make people's lives easier, but some individuals are also using it for fraudulent purposes.
According to her, there are currently observed cases where her image and voice are being used through artificial intelligence to ask people for money and assistance under various pretexts.
“Artificial intelligence may have emerged to make things easier for us. But there are those who use it for good purposes and those who use it for bad purposes. If someone uses my or another person's image to ask for help, money, or something else, do not believe them. A new form of begging is emerging now,” says the singer.
She urged citizens not to trust any information without verifying it. It was emphasized that if any appeal is circulated in her name, it will definitely be announced through her official pages.
“Do not believe any message until we ourselves speak on our official pages. Do not transfer money. First inquire, then provide help,” said Usmonova.
The singer noted that various slanders, fake privileges, and fraudulent schemes are also being spread using artificial intelligence, and called on the public to be vigilant. According to her, public awareness is important in combating such threats in the information space.
