The number of tour operators, travel agents and other business entities providing services in the tourism sector in Uzbekistan exceeded 3.4 thousand. During the year, their number increased by more than 24 percent.
According to the National Statistics Committee, as of July 1, 2026, the number of tour operators, travel agents and other business entities providing services in the tourism sector in Uzbekistan amounted to 3,455.
Compared to the corresponding period of 2025, this indicator increased by 676, or 24.3 percent.
The number of entities operating in the tourism sector has grown as follows in recent years:
— 2022 — 1,918;
— 2023 — 2,071;
— 2024 — 2,585;
— 2025 — 2,779;
— 2026 — 3,455.
Thus, over the past four years, the number of business entities providing services in the tourism sector in the country has increased almost 1.8 times.
