The delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan met with the deputy of the first vice-president in Iran.

At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on issues aimed at further strengthening practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Iran.

On August 18, in the city of Tehran, a delegation led by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhromjon Aloev, was received by Ali Najafi Khoshroudi, deputy of the First Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During the meeting, the current state of relations between Uzbekistan and Iran and issues of their further development were discussed.

The parties considered prospects for expanding cooperation between the two countries in the political, trade-economic and other spheres.
