A search is being conducted by law enforcement agencies at the home of Iryna Mudra, deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine. This was reported by Oleksiy Honcharenko, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
On August 19, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) announced that they were conducting a special operation to expose a criminal organization involving deputies, senior officials, and other individuals.
According to NABU, the organization was led by current and former people's deputies. Senior officials of the Office of the President of Ukraine and other individuals may also have been involved in its activities. At present, law enforcement agencies have not disclosed other details of the case.
Oleksiy Honcharenko reported that a search was also being conducted at Iryna Mudra's home. In addition, Ukrainian media report that former deputy of the "Opposition Platform — For Life" party Vadym Stolar is also being mentioned in connection with this special operation. Stolar himself has confirmed that NABU officers are conducting a search at his home.
Iryna Mudra was appointed to the position of deputy head of the Office of the President by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in March 2024. Prior to that, Mudra served as Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine.
