The famous "Vogue" magazine in the fashion world has determined the most fashionable dog of 2026. Sir Spad, an Italian greyhound, was named the winner of the "Dogue" contest. The magazine reported this on August 18.
The contest was held based on thousands of photos submitted by dog owners. The judges selected the winner based on three main criteria — the photo composition, how the dog's character is revealed in the photo, and "dogueness", that is, conformity to the spirit of fashion.
In the end, the main prize of the 2026 "Dogue" contest went to a dog named Sir Spad. The judges particularly appreciated his calmness and penetrating gaze.
According to Vogue, 25 photos were selected for the final of the contest. After the judges reviewed each work, Sir Spad was declared the winner.
In determining the winner, photo composition was assessed at a 50 percent share, the dog's character at 25 percent, and "dogueness" — conformity to the spirit of fashion — at 25 percent.
According to Vogue, Sir Spad initially attracted the judges' attention with his dignified manner. Then his wise and keen gaze ensured the victory.
The winner of the contest will now appear on the cover of Vogue's digital magazine "Dogue", dedicated to pets.
