In Andijan region, a 21-year-old young man was caught while attempting to bring 127 grams of synthetic narcotic substance into Uzbekistan from a neighboring country.

It became known that the citizen entered the territory of the country through the “Dustlik” border customs post of the Andijan region customs administration. Since he aroused suspicion among customs officers, he was subjected to a personal search in the presence of witnesses.

During the search, it was found that the young man had secretly smuggled 63 packages attached with tape to the thigh area of his legs.

According to the expert conclusion, the total weight of the substances in the black, blue and yellow packages as well as in the zip-bags was 127 grams, and they were identified as the synthetic narcotic substance α-PVP.

According to experts, α-PVP is a dangerous synthetic narcotic substance that has a strong effect on the human psyche and central nervous system.

A criminal case has been initiated by the customs authorities regarding the incident. Currently, investigative actions are being carried out.

The 21-year-old young man, after his one attempt on the “black market,” now faces the risk of spending the most flourishing period of his life behind bars.
