In Uzbekistan, a unique Quran that unites the world's calligraphers will be created.

On August 26, a world calligraphers' competition for creating a unique copy of the Quran will be announced at the Islamic Civilization Center in Tashkent.

At the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, on August 26, the World Calligraphers Competition for creating a unique copy of the Quran will be announced within the framework of the international media forum "Islamic Civilization: New Look "New Discoveries".

Within the framework of the project titled "The World Quran: From Calligraphic Traditions — to the Heritage of the Future", it is planned to create a unique copy of the Quran that combines the finest examples of Islamic calligraphic traditions characteristic of various countries and calligraphic schools.

The competition will be solemnly announced at the plenary session of the media forum on the theme "Heritage Uniting Centuries. Spiritual Meanings of Islamic Civilization".

International projects dedicated to the Quran and manuscript heritage will also be presented within the framework of the media forum. In particular, projects will be exhibited that feature the finest examples of Islamic world calligraphy, the "Great Langar Quran", and the study of ancient manuscripts with the help of artificial intelligence.

The international media forum will be held on August 24–28 in the cities of Tashkent and Samarkand. About 300 media representatives and experts from nearly 50 countries are expected to participate.
