Today, on August 24, strong wind and dust storm may be observed in a number of regions of Uzbekistan. This was reported by Uzgidromet.
According to the report, during the daytime today, in Bukhara, Navoi, Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, Kashkadarya and Fergana regions, as well as in some parts of mountainous areas, wind speed may increase up to 13–18 m/s.
Also, in Tashkent city, wind speed may increase up to 11–14 m/s, and dust storm may rise in some places.
Citizens are advised to follow precautionary measures during strong winds and dust storms.
