In the match held in Baku, the Dortmund club won thanks to Serhou Guirassy's brace. The forward opened the scoring in the 10th minute. Although Aden McCarthy equalized for Sabah in the 39th minute, Guirassy scored again in the 53rd minute to give his team three points.
