Over the last 7 years, 6,784 projects worth 17 trillion 800 billion som have been implemented in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. As a result, 56,000 jobs have been created. During this period, exports worth 2 billion 815 million dollars were made. This year, 470 projects with a total value of 874 million dollars are being implemented in the republic. The President's press service reported this.
This has been consistently continued, with a total value of 9.5 billion dollars worth of 124 projects formed by foreign investors and local entrepreneurs in Karakalpakstan. Nearly 1 billion 800 million dollars worth of 10 of these projects have been presented to our head of state.
Companies from countries such as China, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Russia, Spain are investing in the projects. They cover sectors such as energy, heating supply, mining and chemical industries, construction materials, services, and other fields.
For example, in collaboration with Saudi Arabia, a centralized heating supply system in the city of Nukus is being improved, solar and wind power stations are being constructed in the Karauzyak district with Spanish investment, and German investors are planning projects for copper processing and cable production in the Nukus district.
As a result of these 124 projects, more than 20,000 people will be provided with jobs.
The head of our state emphasized the importance of expediting the projects, offering comprehensive support to entrepreneurs.
