Is it possible to use donor hair for hair transplantation? The Ministry of Health press service reported on this.

Hair is half the beauty of a person. Excessive hair loss, however, causes psychological problems for many. That's why modern medicine is now offering hair transplant surgery to prevent this condition.

So, what should be taken into account? What should people who have undergone this treatment be cautious about? Who cannot undergo this surgery?

— If previously hair loss was mainly observed after the age of 40,  Nowadays , this condition is also becoming common among the youth, — says the specialist. — Even among the clients, it is possible to encounter young men under the age of 20.

First and foremost, it is necessary to consult an experienced specialist for hair transplantation. This procedure is very delicate. A skilled specialist can provide you with essential recommendations in this regard.

Clients who have undergone the treatment must avoid physical and emotional stress for 7-10 days. Additionally, until the hair settles and adapts well to  the scalp , it is not permissible to go to gyms or engage in heavy exercises.

Regarding hair washing, it is recommended to use children's  shampoo  without excessive chemicals. Only after one month from the procedure, it is possible to wash the hair with any  shampoo .

It should be noted that hair does not grow at all on a different organism. Therefore, even the closest people to the patient cannot become donors. If the donor area of the client has sparse hairs, then hair is taken from the beard and chest area.

There are several contraindications to performing this operation. For example, diseases in the blood coagulation system, allergic reactions, and dangerous types of diabetes make it impossible to perform hair transplantation. Moreover, this treatment is not recommended for children under the age of 15.

To prevent hair loss, it is necessary to avoid several negative factors – radiation, nerve fiber damage, the deficiency of microelements, and the lack of vitamins.
