Earlier, a video showing a fire in one of the multi-storey buildings in Samarkand spread on social media. The regional Fire Safety Department provided information about the incident.
According to the information, today, on September 9, around 17:30, an explosion occurred in one of the apartments on the 3rd floor of the building located at Beruni Street, house number 86 in the city of Samarkand.
As a result of the explosion, two citizens were injured and hospitalized. There was no fire as a result of the explosion.

Authorities from the regional and city Fire Safety Departments, Fire-Rescue crews, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor's Office, “Hududgazta'minot” and the State Security Service responded to the site of the incident. Preliminary investigative actions are being carried out.
