A drug dealer who sold drugs to youth in the capital city of Tashkent and operated for money has been caught. This was reported to DXX Darakchi.uz.
It was noted that during a search conducted with the participation of witnesses at the rented residence of a 1992-born individual living in the city of Ohangaron, Tashkent region, located in the Yangihayot district, 16,249 units of the highly potent drug "Zardex" were discovered, intended for future sale. The drugs were seized as material evidence.
Reportedly, the suspect had received these drugs from a seller via the Telegram messenger, who had left them in a secret location in the Sergeli district. The dealer was supposed to receive $16,000 USD after selling them to clients.
"Zardex" contains the highly potent substance "Pregabalin," which, according to the 2019 Resolution No. 818 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, is classified as a highly potent substance.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against the drug dealer under Article 251-1, Part 5 of the Criminal Code, and a detention measure has been applied. The investigation is ongoing.
