The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, welcomed a delegation consisting of Vitaly Savelyev, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Igor Levitin, Advisor to the President of Russia, and Oleg Belozyorov, Chairman of the management board of "Russian Railways", on September 18. The President's press service reported this. 

At the beginning of the meeting, the members of the Russian delegation conveyed the greetings and best wishes from Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, to the leader of our state.

The issues of implementing the agreements reached during the high-level meetings held in the city of Tashkent on May 26-28 of this year were reviewed.

Special attention was paid to coordinated measures to develop efficient transport corridors in the region.

The importance of accelerating industrial cooperation projects in the transportation sector, expanding partnerships in the fields of automobile, railway, and aviation transportation, and training highly skilled engineering personnel was noted.
