The era of taking the IELTS exam on paper in Uzbekistan has come to an end. Starting from July 11, all tests will only be conducted on computers. This was officially announced by the IDP test center.

The IELTS exam taking place on July 10 will be the last exam to be conducted in paper form. This change applies to all examinations conducted by IDP, British Council, and Cambridge University Press & Assessment.

The discontinuation of the paper form is explained by operational and security reasons. In recent months, there have been reports of some exam answers being leaked before the test date. Specifically, the answers to the exam held on June 7 were delayed and announced on June 24.

For this reason, the Edu-Action Exams center is offering two options to the registered applicants:

1. Taking the IELTS in its computer-based form (conducted for free);

2. A full refund of the payment.

For your information, more than 4 million people across the world take the IELTS every year. This test is one of the most reliable systems internationally recognized for higher education, migration, and employment.
