Today in our capital, a high-level experience sharing forum organized in collaboration with Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates has started its work, reports "Dunyo" news agency.
The event is attended by representatives of state bodies of Uzbekistan and the UAE, leaders of organizations such as "ICBA", "Fly Dubai", "Abu Dhabi Development Fund", as well as journalists.
In recent years, the multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and the UAE, especially in trade-economic and investment sectors, have been actively developing. At the forum, various directions, including "green" energy, agriculture, transport and logistics, tourism infrastructure, and other topics are being discussed.
The conference aims to further develop bilateral cooperation in the priority areas of state management and the economy, to assist in reaching agreements for the implementation of new projects and initiatives.
At the beginning of the event, the national anthems of Uzbekistan and the UAE were played, and video clips dedicated to the cooperation between the two countries were shown. This was followed by a panel discussion on the theme "The Future is Now: Modernizing the Government during the Era of Transformations". The discussion touches upon the issues of consistent and quality implementation of the reforms envisaged in the "Uzbekistan – 2030" strategy and the priority directions of our country's development.
During the forum, eight cluster events covering the main directions of bilateral cooperation such as investment and economic growth, energy and infrastructure, education and regional development, healthcare, environmental protection, digital transformation, tourism, and government development will be organized to discuss projects and initiatives.
