In the city of Tashkent, an 11th-grade student died after being trapped under a football goalpost. The city's prosecution office informed darakchi.uz about this.
The incident occurred on September 27th of this year at the sports field of school No. 134 in the Olmazor district. A 17-year-old student from general education school No. 133 went to have dinner around 20:00, and then went to play football with five classmates around 21:00 and 22:00. After playing football and while attempting to leave, the boy hung onto the goalpost. But he failed to maintain his balance, fell down, and the goalpost fell on top of him, trapping him underneath.
The students lifted the goalpost, called for an ambulance, and the ambulance arrived within 40 minutes. The boy was taken to Tashkent Pediatric Institute, but upon being taken into reanimation at about 23:45, he died from “closed abdominal injuries, liver laceration, rupture of the liver veins, internal bleeding, traumatic shock”.
Pre-investigation checks are being carried out by the prosecution office of the Olmazor district regarding this incident.
