According to the law, amendments and supplements are being made that envision the possibility for lessees of agricultural land plots designated for agriculture, according to the Land Code and other laws, to transfer their rights and obligations to another person without changing the intended use of the land plot (subleasing).
Furthermore, it is being established that the leasing of agricultural land plots will replace open electronic bidding with online electronic auctions.
Additionally, it is envisaged that direct leasing of land plots to individuals and legal entities implementing major investment projects, determined by selecting the best proposal, will involve payments to the State budget by the lessee.
The law comes into force from the day it is officially published.
