CCV requested to report on corruption cases in the healthcare sector.

The Ministry announced that the confidentiality of the information is fully guaranteed.

The Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan has called on citizens to report corruption incidents in the medical field.

According to the press service of the Ministry, a series of measures aimed at fighting corruption in the medical system decisively and uncompromisingly, eliminating various bureaucratic and human factor-related obstacles are being implemented by the Ministry of Health.

In particular, to promptly report conflicts of interest and corruption cases, prevent mistakes and shortcomings in a timely manner, and eliminate them, a nationwide hotline number 1203 has been launched across the republic.

“If you encounter corruption-related incidents in the health care system, you can call the trust phone number 71 241-10-65 or the short number 1203”, states the report.

Applications are accepted from 08:00 to 20:00 on weekdays, and the full confidentiality of the information is guaranteed.

In addition, citizens can also send their applications through the following platforms:

  • the newly launched official Telegram bot of the ministry;
  • the 1003 short number Call-center operating around the clock under the ministry;
  • the info@ssv.uz email address of the ministry.

As emphasized in the report, the Ministry of Health will have an uncompromising attitude towards any corruption cases and no citizen’s application will be ignored.
