At the meeting, issues of further expanding the strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and India were considered.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during his visit to the city of Kazan, held a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, Narendra Modi. This was reported by the President's press service. 

The meeting discussed issues related to expanding the strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and India.

Special attention was given to the implementation of programs and projects in high technology, artificial intelligence, industry, energy, pharmaceuticals, and transport communications.

This year, it was agreed to hold the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and a business forum, as well as to adopt a medium-term program on industrial cooperation.

Proposals were made to organize joint events in the fields of culture and cinema, medicine and sports, and also involving the youth, including within the framework of youth parliaments of our countries.

The leaders also discussed plans for upcoming high-level events.
