Within the framework of the BRICS summit events, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received Dilma Rousseff, the president of the New Development Bank of the union. The President's press service reported this. 

The issues of establishing mutually beneficial cooperation with this prestigious multilateral financial institution were discussed.

Education and technological development programs and projects, social sector support, industry, infrastructure and logistics modernization, digitalization, energy, and utility sectors were noted as promising directions of partnership.
