In Moscow, the cost of patents for migrants will reach 8,9 thousand rubles in 2025, almost 1,5 thousand rubles more expensive than the current price, reports "zamon.uz".
“A crucial issue — migrants need to pay an amount of money comparable to our citizens from the standpoint of taxes. We consider the monthly income tax payments of our citizens and compare this with the workers of this category.
The current monthly payment for a patent is 7,5 thousand rubles, which, in fact, is considered an advance payment for income tax. Starting from January 1st, this amount will be 8,9 thousand rubles,” said the Mayor of the capital, Sergey Sobyanin.
According to his words, this equates the expenses employers spend on migrants and Russian citizens.
“This mechanism was created quite a while ago, and it regulates to ensure that migrants do not cost less to employers compared to our citizens,” explained the Mayor of Moscow.
Sobyanin stated that there hasn't been a significant increase in the number of labor patents issued in Moscow, which currently amounts to about 450 thousand.
