Apple company released the iOS 18.1 system. It was the first to have the Apple Intelligence features based on artificial intelligence (AI) presented in summer. This was reported by "zamon.uz".
The following AI features can be obtained through the update to the iOS 18.1 system:
— Writing Tools for working with text and AI summary for notifications;
— Clean Up feature in the Photos app to remove certain elements from a photo;
— AI can provide a brief summary of a web page while reading through Safari;
— "Smart" sorting of emails;
— Creating a slideshow based on text queries.
— A special AI focus mode that shows only the most important notifications from frequently used apps.
The update size is 1.8 Gb, but at least 4 Gb of free space is required for the Apple Intelligence features. All iPhone owners starting from the XS can get the IOS 18.1 system. However, Apple Intelligence is only available on iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max and iPhone 16 smartphones.
For iPhone devices that do not support artificial intelligence, several other useful features have also been prepared. Perhaps the most important is the ability to record and transcribe phone calls. Also, the design and functionality of Siri have been updated.
Apple Intelligence features including ChatGPT integration and Image Playground with Genmoji will be released by the end of the year in the iOS 18.2 system. The system will be fully operational with the release of iOS 18.3 or 18.4 versions in the spring of 2025.
