Tashkent Invest company will start an open international competition from October 31 to develop sketch projects for four entrance gates to the capital. The organization's press service announced this.
The gates to the city of Tashkent are planned to be organized in the territories of Rohat, Bektemir, Erkin, and Uchkahramon posts.
"This project will be another step in transforming Tashkent, combining modern and traditional ideas. We plan to start construction works this year, and your creative energy and ideas could become the foundation of these changes," — states the message.
Participants from both Uzbekistan and abroad can take part in the competition.
The company emphasizes that you can join creative teams or form groups involving Uzbek specialists.
Important dates for the competition:
- October 31 — start of application acceptance;
- November 7 — deadline for application submission;
- November 11 — announcement of finalists;
- November 30 — announcement of the winner.
To participate, applications must be sent to the competition's email address info@tashkentinvest.com no later than November 7, 2024.
The competition will be conducted in accordance with UNESCO recommendations, and winners will be awarded the following prizes:
- first place — 100 million soums;
- second place — 50 million soums;
- third place — 30 million soums.
