At the event, the party groups of the deputies elected to the Tashkent city council were registered, and the council's regulations and the charter of the permanent commissions were approved.
During the consultation, it was announced that the president had nominated Shavkat Umurzokov for the position of mayor of Tashkent city. By the decision of the Tashkent city council of people's deputies, Shavkat Umurzokov was confirmed as the mayor of Tashkent city.
