The Joint Special-Tactical Training Exercises between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan military personnel have commenced at the “Forish” mountain range located in the Central Military District. This was reported by the Press Service of the Ministry of Defense.
Participants of the assembly organized under the name “Khanjar-2024” marched through the parade ground to the sounds of the national anthems and under the flags of the two brotherly states.
Following the solemn opening ceremony, plans for the training exercises were discussed during a briefing with the leaders of the Kazakh military delegation. A mutual agreement was reached to share experiences through numerous practical exercises during the special-tactical training session, which is intended to last ten days. Specifically, during the “Khanjar-2024” special-tactical training, the military personnel of both states will engage in shooting with various combat weapons, conduct operations in simulated civilian residential areas, and analyze maneuvers.
A friendly atmosphere has marked the beginning of the training session, with plans for guests to enjoy a day of national cuisines, a football tournament, and a trip to the city of Samarkand.
