During the state visit to Azerbaijan, a ceremonial ceremony dedicated to laying the foundation stone for the "Uzbekistan" park took place in the city of Baku, as announced by the President’s press service, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The new park is located in the prestigious and rapidly developing "White City" area of the capital.
According to the project, a large complex that showcases the rich culture and traditions of Uzbekistan will be constructed on an area of 8.5 hectares.
In the park area, replicas of our country's architectural monuments, promenades, green spaces, a hotel, various trading and recreational facilities will be established. The construction and decoration of buildings will utilize the traditions and patterns of Uzbek national architecture.
At the ceremony, the leaders of the two countries jointly placed a symbolic capsule in the foundation of the park, thus inaugurating the construction of this important project.
