The Decree PF–84 dated June 3, 2024, of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, envisages the completion of digitalization in the alcohol and tobacco production sector by the end of the year. Towards this goal, integration efforts for production enterprises are being carried out by the Inspection for Regulating the Alcohol and Tobacco Market under the auspices of the Prosecutor General's Office.
In particular, all enterprises in the republic are being integrated into a unified online information system that allows for the monitoring and control of the production and turnover volumes of alcohol and alcoholic products.
This system facilitates the tracking and centralized monitoring and control of the production and turnover volumes of consumer and technical ethyl alcohol, alcohol and tobacco products, a risk analysis system, and the movement of vehicles transporting consumer and technical ethyl alcohol.
As a result, the opportunity to reduce the illegal circulation of alcohol and tobacco products and to fully account for excise tax payments is enhanced.
Additionally, supplementary demands are being aggregated, and necessary measures are being taken concerning the installation of video surveillance devices at manufacturing enterprises.
