In the Farghona region, a man stabbed a fellow villager he knew several times, resulting in death. The courts of the Farghona region reported this.
According to information, the man born in the Andijan region had been convicted several times before. He went to a neighbor's house for a funeral. When his acquaintance asked him, he mentioned he was temporarily unemployed. His fellow villager told him that he was working as a baker in the city of Farghona and offered him to work together. Thus, the two neighbors had been engaged in baking in Farghona.
Later, after consuming alcoholic beverages, they got into an argument. As a result, the previously convicted man used a "kitchen knife" to stab his fellow villager several times in the left chest area and various parts of the body, leading to death.
In court, the man stated that during the argument, his acquaintance hit him in the forearm with a hammer, and he used the knife that was there to defend himself. This criminal case was reviewed by the Farghona city court.
The court sentenced the man under Article 97 of the Criminal Code (Deliberate homicide) to 11 years and 6 months in prison.
