It has been reported that 5 people in Samarqand region died from poisoning by homemade alcoholic beverages.
According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, a criminal case has been initiated against the person who sold the homemade alcoholic products under Article 186 of the Criminal Code ( Producing, storing, transporting, or selling goods that do not meet safety requirements, performing works or providing services with the intent of distribution) part 4, paragraph "a".
Currently, investigative actions are underway.
