Listeria bacteria was detected in chicken sent from Kazakhstan to Russia. The Rosselkhoznadzor reported this.

It turns out that the meat is supplied to Russia by the large chicken producer “Makinskaya poultry farm.” This enterprise also supplies products to Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

It is noted that the bacterium can lead to death when it enters the organism. Currently, the meat has been seized, and products brought from Kazakhstan are under intensified surveillance.
